Getting here

Innsbruck is easy to reach, and the mountain is half an hour from the city centre.

To Innsbruck

By Train

Innsbruck main station is within walking distance of most hotels and offers direct trains from Munich, Zurich and Vienna. Flying into these cities and continuing by train is an easy option too.

By Plane

Innsbruck has its own airport with a few direct connections; alternatively fly via Munich (2h train) or Vienna (4.5h train).

By Car

Innsbruck is easily accessible via the highway - parking in the city center costs around 20 EUR/day, with many hotels also offering parking options.

Departs from Triumphpforte and Hotel Grauer Bär, 7,50 EUR per day. Add it to your order at ticket checkout - available for every ticket category.

By Public Bus

Regular service on line 412 from Innsbruck main station and Triumphpforte (Leopoldstraße). Check the schedule on the Axamer Lizum website.

By Car

30-minute drive from Innsbruck, with a free parking pass at SKInnovation check-in. Car sharing is not just practical, it is one of the easier ways to meet people before the first coffee.

Alternative in the city

Börse, Innsbruck city centre

Right at the Triumphpforte, a few steps from the shuttle stop. Sensible if you want your equipment the evening before and no queue on the first morning. You do carry it up on the shuttle.

A two-day lift ticket for Axamer Lizum on Thursday and Friday is already in your conference ticket. You do not need to buy a pass for the two days on the mountain. For the Community Ski Day on Saturday there are discounted tickets.
