
Andy is an accomplished technology innovation pioneer, entrepreneur, advisor, and consultant, focusing on conversational AI, XR and 3D technologies. His pioneering work in spatial computing began in 2008, when he launched the world’s first mobile AR travel guides while working with Lonely Planet.
This groundbreaking initiative led him to join Wikitude’s management team in 2010. During his tenure, he was instrumental in developing one of the world’s leading AR SDKs – a major accomplishment that led to Wikitude’s acquisition by Qualcomm in 2021.
Today, through his company Gstoll Innovations GmbH, Andy provides expert guidance to select clients like Red Bull, TUI, Siemens and the Austrian National Tourism Board, helping them advance their XR, 3D, and AI initiatives. He also serves in various advisory roles for start-up accelerators, and academic institutions, where he regularly leads lectures, workshops, and masterclasses.
