Tomasz Ciesielski

Director of Technology Transfer Center

University of Łódź

Tomasz Ciesielski is Director of the Centre for Technology Transfer at the University of Łódź (Poland), where he works at the intersection of science, business and creative practice. His work focuses on translating research results into real-world applications, building partnerships between universities, industry and public institutions, and developing new models of knowledge valorisation. With a background in the arts and humanities, he is particularly interested in how creative and performative methods can support innovation processes. He is the author of the Perebel method, an approach that combines artistic practice, embodied cognition and design thinking to facilitate innovation and collaboration across disciplines. He has worked with researchers, startups, public institutions and companies on projects related to innovation strategy, technology transfer and the application of immersive technologies such as VR and XR. Tomasz is also involved in several European initiatives focused on strengthening university–industry collaboration and building innovation ecosystems in post-industrial regions. At Skinnovation, he shares perspectives on bridging creativity, technology and entrepreneurship in contemporary innovation ecosystems.
